What is a Mercedes V-Class?
The Mercedes V-Class is our executive people carrier: up to six passengers, six large cases, from £110. It is the only executive vehicle in the fleet that seats six with a large case each.
Six passengers and six cases is the specification that matters for airport transfers. Most vehicles that seat six do so by sacrificing the boot, which leaves a group of six with hand luggage only. This one takes a full-size case per passenger and still closes the tailgate.
The cabin is tall enough to stand in while boarding and can be configured with the middle row facing rearwards, so a travelling team can hold a conversation properly rather than shouting over a shoulder.

Groups that should not be split
The alternative to a V-Class is usually two saloons. From Heathrow to central London two saloons come to £160 against £130 for one V-Class, and they put your group in separate cars arriving at different times.
It is the standing choice for travelling teams and for families with grandparents in the party, where a high floor and a big step would be the problem rather than the seat count.

The 8 seater takes eight passengers and eight cases from £80. The V-Class takes six and six from £110, with executive seating.
You are paying for the interior rather than the capacity. The 8 seater is a licensed minibus and travels like one; the V-Class is an executive vehicle with leather, climate control and a driver in a suit. For a party of seven or eight the choice makes itself. For six, decide whether the journey is transport or hospitality.
