Fixed-fare journeys between London Luton and your door. No DART shuttle, no rail change at Parkway, no meter counting up on the M1.
A Luton taxi transfer connects London Luton (LTN) with an address of your choosing at a rate agreed in advance. Taxiqo prices the journey from £75 in a saloon seating four with room for two large cases.
Luton sits 34 miles north of the capital in Bedfordshire, close to junction 10a of the M1. Budget 50 to 75 minutes for the drive, stretching towards the upper end when the M1 backs up around Brent Cross. The airport works from a single passenger terminal, which was extended in recent years but still funnels every arrival into one hall.
Drivers are licensed for private hire and the cars are plated to match. Luton's £7 drop-off charge buys a 10 minute stay before rising by £1 a minute, and it sits inside the quoted fare along with motorway costs, the congestion charge where a route crosses it, ULEZ and VAT. Nothing is settled at the kerb.
Coming up: what each Luton run costs, how the terminal and its rail links actually work, matching a vehicle to your group and bags, the full inclusion list, an honest read on the DART and Luton Airport Express against a car, and the booking steps. The FAQ tackles early and late landings, the shuttle question, ski luggage, night flights and free cancellation.
The strongest case at Luton is the connection count. Reaching the terminal by rail means a train, then the DART shuttle, then whatever gets you to your final address. A car collapses all of that into one leg with your cases in the boot the whole way.
Price certainty is the second gain. Thirty-four miles on a meter varies enormously between 03:00 and 17:00. Booked ahead, it doesn't vary at all.
A saloon bound for central London is £105, with fares moving by distance and car size. One fare covers the vehicle and everyone in it. No night rate, no peak loading.

| Milton Keynes | Saloon | 35 to 50 min | £90 |

Terminal layout at Luton is straightforward: one building, one arrivals hall, one authorised pickup zone. Where it gets less simple is the rail connection, which runs in two stages.
The Luton DART is an automated people mover opened in 2023. It covers the four minute hop between the terminal and Luton Airport Parkway station, where mainline trains continue to St Pancras. That replaced the old shuttle bus and is a genuine improvement. It's still a change with luggage, though, and it's the step a car removes.
Every arrival and departure uses this one building. Meet and greet drivers wait inside the arrivals hall.
Used for standard pickups, a short walk from arrivals. The bay number arrives by text.
Automated transit linking the terminal to Luton Airport Parkway in about four minutes.
Mainline station for Thameslink and East Midlands Railway services towards St Pancras.
Sitting inside the quoted price is every charge the trip generates, which is why the booking figure and the settled figure match on every airport transfer we run.
Arrivals are served by one of two pickup types. Meet and greet places the driver inside the terminal; a standard pickup meets you at the designated pickup point outside.
Choose by passenger count first, then by luggage. Count pushchairs, ski bags and golf clubs as large cases. Under-filling a vehicle is the most common cause of a transfer going wrong at the kerb.

Very easy to book and the price was clear from the start. The driver was professional and the vehicle was clean. I would definitely use TAXIQO again.
Every vehicle is licensed, insured and fixed-price. Filter by class to see the models, luggage capacity and passenger count.
Luton Airport Express reaches St Pancras in about 25 minutes from Parkway, and the DART adds four more at the airport end, so allow about 30 minutes from the terminal. On paper that's faster than any drive down the M1.
In practice you're making two changes with your bags before you even reach London, then a third to get where you're actually going. So rail suits a light traveller heading somewhere near St Pancras or Farringdon. A car makes more sense for families, early flights, late landings and anywhere the Thameslink route doesn't help. How many of you there are decides which class of vehicle to pick.
Booking runs to a minute. Give us both addresses, the date and time, choose the class of car and confirm. The fare appears before you commit to anything.
