These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Taxiqo website and chauffeur services (the "Services"). By booking a journey or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About us
Taxiqo is a London-based chauffeur and private-hire company, registered office 16 Trelawn Rd, London, E10 5QD. You can reach us at [email protected] or +44 7471 282859.
2. Our services
We provide chauffeur-driven transport, including airport transfers, city journeys, hourly hire, tours, events, weddings, and group travel. Vehicles and drivers are provided by us or by licensed partner operators working to our standards. All drivers are licensed and our operations are conducted under the relevant private-hire licensing.
3. Booking and contract
When you submit a booking you make an offer to enter into a contract with us. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a confirmation. You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, contact details, flight numbers, passenger numbers, and any special requirements. We rely on the information you provide and are not liable for issues caused by inaccurate details.
4. Pricing and payment
Quoted fares are fixed and inclusive of VAT and standard tolls unless stated otherwise. Additional charges may apply for extra waiting time beyond the included allowance, additional stops, significant route changes, cleaning required due to soiling, or parking and congestion charges where applicable. Payment is taken in accordance with the booking process; for account customers, payment terms are agreed separately.
5. Waiting time
Airport bookings include a complimentary waiting period after landing (typically up to 60 minutes), with flight tracking applied automatically. For non-airport pickups a shorter free waiting period applies. Waiting time beyond the included allowance is charged at the applicable rate.
6. Cancellations and changes
You may cancel or amend a booking subject to our Cancellation Policy. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup. Between 24 and 2 hours before pickup, 50% of the fare is refunded; inside 2 hours, or for a no-show, no refund is given. Please see our Cancellation Policy for full details.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to: be ready at the agreed pickup time; treat the vehicle and chauffeur with respect; not exceed the seating or luggage capacity of the booked vehicle; not consume alcohol or smoke in the vehicle unless expressly permitted; and ensure that children travel with appropriate seating, which we can provide on request. We may refuse or end a journey where behaviour is unsafe, illegal, or abusive.
8. Luggage and lost property
Please tell us your luggage requirements at the time of booking so we can provide a suitable vehicle. We take care with your belongings but cannot accept liability for items left in the vehicle. Found items will be held and returned where possible; recovery and return costs may apply.
9. Liability
We provide our Services with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, or flight changes. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the value of that booking.
10. Complaints
We aim to resolve any concern quickly. Please contact us at [email protected] with your booking reference and we will investigate and respond promptly.
11. Intellectual property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Taxiqo and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR commitments.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies to that booking; the latest version is always published on this page.
