What is City Transport?
City transport is a pre-booked private hire journey within a town or city, priced before travel rather than by a meter. Taxiqo runs these either point to point or by the hour, in blocks from 2 hours (£120) up to 12, with the driver held between stops.
The difference from a street taxi is what happens when traffic does. A metered fare climbs while you sit still; a booked fare does not move. That matters most on the journeys where being late costs something: a meeting, a restaurant booking, an airport run, a train you cannot miss.
Every driver holds a private hire licence and every vehicle carries the matching plate. Congestion charges, clean air zone charges and VAT sit inside the quoted fare, so the figure agreed at booking is the figure paid at the end.

What does city transport cost?
Hourly hire is booked in blocks of 2 to 12 hours, from £120 for 2 hours in a saloon, and includes 10 miles of travel for each hour booked. Point-to-point journeys are quoted on the route instead, and both cover the vehicle rather than the seat.
Rates below are for a saloon. For a larger or executive vehicle, such as an eight seater, enter the journey in the booking form and the fixed price for that class is shown before you book.

Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. Between 24 and 2 hours before pickup half the fare is refunded, and inside 2 hours nothing is, because the vehicle is already allocated. Changing the time or address is free more than 24 hours ahead.
